CAFO2020 Summit: Small Matters

May 6-8

Register: HERE

You are invited to join remarkable men and women from across the US and around the globe at CAFO2020 where we’ll explore together the small choices that can (re)make lives – both our own and those we serve.

Parents and pastors, experts and organizations, leaders and servants will come together to both share and to receive — expertise and encouragement, resources and friendship. Each passionate to see children thrive in adoption, foster care and effective service to the vulnerable worldwide. Seeking justice and mercy, rooted deep in the Gospel of God’s unfailing love.

Join CCDA at the Southern Border.

CCDA practitioners have responded this year to the humanitarian crisis at our border day in and day out. Our Southwest Border Local Network, in partnership with CCDA, is creating a learning lab to help our association continue to practically respond. Participants will learn about ministry work along the border and deeply engage the issues surrounding the current migration crisis. More information is included below.

Meet with local leaders and see first-hand how CCD is being lived out on the border at our “Voices from the Desert” Conference.

Voly.Org Agency Briefings

Dallas VolunteerNow Office

2800 Live Oak Street, Dallas

Would you like to learn more about how your church, nonprofit, school or government department can benefit from Volunteer Now programs and services? Agency Briefings are offered monthly in Dallas and Tarrant counties. Each Briefing provides an overview of Volunteer Center programs and services that are designed to support area nonprofits and an opportunity to meet and network with other nonprofit professionals.

What to Expect:

  • Voly.org is an online volunteer matching program for Dallas-Fort Worth volunteers and nonprofit organizations. Voly.org is a database sponsored by Volunteer Now that allows users to post and find volunteer needs throughout Greater Dallas.

  • Learn who to contact for various agency programs and get answers to questions you may have about maximizing services for your agency. Voly.org helps nonprofit agencies with their constant need to fill volunteer positions and to allow volunteers to make a difference where it matters most.

To register for an Agency Briefing, please contact Cathy Hurst at membership@vcnt.org or 214-826-6767. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. More information...
