Local and national events -- virtual or safe and in person -- that will help you become more informed, connected & equipped.
Carroll Theological Seminary - Free Seminar
Location: Online and In-Person (Southcliff Baptist Church, Fort Worth)
Date: Jan. 27, 9am-4pm CST
We invite you to join us on January 27 as we host a FREE One-Day Conference designed to equip you with tools and resources to respond to trauma, loss, and grief in a way that leads to hope and healing.
Listen in as one of our speakers, Dr. Jay Fannin, shares his story about responding when his church experienced unexpected trauma.
Date: Jan. 26
HousingForwardNTX needs volunteers for the night of January 26th for our annual Point-in-Time Count! Volunteers will engage with our unhoused neighbors and help take a census of our neighbors experiencing homelessness that night. Groups of volunteers will be assigned to different census tracts throughout Dallas and Collin Counties. The data collected will help our Homeless Response System understand trends in order to create data driven strategies that will help reduce and solve homelessness in our community. Alternatively, HousingForwardNTX also needs help in spreading the word to bring more awareness to this volunteer opportunity.
